Founded in 2024 by brothers Christopher and Mathew, Benstead Abbey Resources was born from a shared passion for wine, craft drinks, and international trade.
With over 20 years in the wine industry – including a decade making wine in New Zealand – Mathew now produces award-winning wines in the UK, bringing deep, hands-on knowledge of winemaking and production. Christopher leads our consultancy operations, building strong relationships with independent wine and spirits producers across the UK and Europe, and helping them access new markets around the world.
At Benstead Abbey Resources, we specialise in project management and international trade consulting for the alcohol industry; with a focus on UK and US market entry, import/export logistics, and compliance.
